Ethics are very important to us and so we want to be clear about what we consider appropriate use of our data services. As we have designed and maintain our database we consider ourselves to have some responsibility for the nature of the events we enable and host. This is why we have an ethical policy.

1. We respect all areas considered Protected characteristics These are age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. We will not object to any group or individual using our App data hosting to positively promote rights and understanding of any of these characteristics.

2. We reserve the right to delete events from our database from groups or individuals (irrespective of the cause the event is supporting) that are associated with practices or promote views that are discriminate against or prejudicial to the above characteristics.

3. These rules only apply to event organisers or creators of events. It is the responsibility of event organisers to decide on their own policy regarding competitors in events whether that individual uses Event Competitor or not.
